The staff were genuinely friendly, and the service was exceptional. We stayed one night while visiting Longleat. The room was a little rough around the edges, but perfectly acceptable for the price. Dinner was fantastic and, if you ask me, underpriced. Breakfast was great too, just the right amount to set us up for the day. A lovely little pub and B&B.

The dining room is spacious but still cozy, with a lovely cottage feel and beautifully presented. The menu has something for everyone, and the staff were friendly and helpful. It’s full of old-world character while still feeling bang up to date. Such a lovely place! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We popped in and found it just right for us. Friendly service, a good choice of drinks, and a cozy local atmosphere. Such a lovely little pub, really recommend this gem!

David made us feel welcome from the start and was happy to help with anything. The room was warm and comfortable, and more than adequate for what we needed. Dinner was superb, with plenty of choice and generous portions; breakfast was extremely tasty too and came with a friendly smile. The booking was handled professionally and courteously. If you’re after a village pub experience, this could be the one.

The food was delicious. I had the homemade scampi, absolutely drool-worthy, and my partner had the Butchers pie. We were both over the moon with dinner. The Malbec was nice, and my partner loved the best on tap! There’s a lovely beer garden for warmer days too, and we can’t wait to go back. It was our first dinner there since the new owners took over, and we weren’t disappointed. They’re finally taking this lovely pub where it should be. We’re telling all our friends. A must visit!
