The breakfast was second to none, with all the produce locally sourced. Mark and Louise were welcoming, friendly and accommodating hosts, and I wouldn’t hesitate to come back. Berwick House was immaculately presented, with lovely luxury touches. They’ve clearly put a lot of thought into guests’ comfort, including a fridge, corkscrew and plenty of glassware to use.

We really enjoyed breakfast, especially the delicious bacon and sausages, and our room had everything we needed. From the moment we arrived, Mark and Louise made us feel welcome. They knew the area well and gave us helpful ideas for places to visit. We had a lovely stay at Berwick House!

We’ve been staying at Berwick House for a couple of years, and it feels like a home away from home. The beds are comfortable and it’s really quiet, even more so this year since the seagulls seem to have moved farther away. Mark and Louise are wonderfully welcoming, always helpful and happy to chat. And the breakfast is the best ever. We’re already looking forward to coming back.

The rooms we’ve had at Berwick House have always been clean and comfortable, and breakfast has been beautiful, a lovely start to the day. Mark and Louise are on hand to answer questions about the stay or what’s happening locally. We’ve visited many times over the years and have always had a lovely experience. The current owners make us feel very welcome, and it was a pleasure to meet their new addition, Nellie, this year. Thanks to you all for a lovely stay. Hopefully we’ll be back next year. The hosts were a mine of information and went out of their way to make our visit memorable. We were welcomed with tea, cake and a chat, and nothing seemed too much trouble. The room was immaculate, with a large comfortable bed and a fantastic ensuite, and it was serviced daily. Breakfast had just the right choice of fresh fruit and cereal before a great cooked meal. The B&B is ideally placed for walking into town or to the seafront, with plenty of places to eat, a cinema, buses and shops. Highly recommended.
