The location and idea are good, and the parking felt secure. The host seemed nice too. But I paid £88 for what felt like a shed, or IKEA meets sauna, and the bed was TERRIBLE. That was my biggest gripe. The towels smelled of smoke, so I didn’t feel clean after showering. The mug was chipped, and the corner light gets far too hot, which seems dangerous for kids. It needs replacing ASAP. It was really noisy from other guests doing normal things, the road, and the airport. Thankfully I had earplugs and my own pillow. Budget places need a decent bed and pillows, some quiet, a clean room, and a light by the bed for reading. A slightly cooler room can be nice too. I don’t recommend staying here unless improvements are made.

Pam, Justin and ty were absolutely brilliant and couldn’t do enough for us. The cabins were great, nice and clean, with a lovely outdoor seating area. My grandson loved them, and we’ll definitely stay again.

The hostess made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed, which was a nice touch. These secluded cabins are ideal if you just need somewhere to sleep, with convenient, secure off-road parking. The facilities are basic but good quality: a kitchenette with a microwave, tea and coffee and a wash sink, plus a shower room, TV and internet.

The cabins are warm and have the essentials, and the parking is convenient and secure. Pam, the owner, was very friendly and welcoming. It was cheap and worked for an overnight stop before heading to Heathrow, but don’t expect strong water pressure or reliable wifi. I’m not sure it’s suitable for families. The walls are incredibly thin, so outside sounds carry right in. We expected planes, but a busy road nearby had cars going all night, and every step along the decked walkway made noise and vibrations. We had a very noisy couple in the cabin opposite. They were grunting, knocking, and shouting “yes” late into the night, then stopping to chat loudly and smoke outside. The last time I heard them was 3:30 am. I was about to knock, but they must have heard me unlock my door and stopped. I found it hilarious, though I had two children with me, and the sounds didn’t seem very human. I didn’t want to explain it to the kids, who fortunately slept through most of it. My daughter may even have woken the couple for another round when she fell out of bed at 3 am, mattress and all, and banged her face on the other bed. The spare bed is just a bit of wood with a thick mattress that isn’t secured. She must have tossed in her sleep, and the mattress slid off with her. There’s very little floor space, so she landed face-first against the corner of the big bed. Thankfully we got through the night. The couple had gone by morning, and my daughter was left with a mark on her face, but she lived to tell the tale.
