Gladstone Apartments by Bluebell Rooms

The apartment management didn’t respond to our messages, and we had to chase them for weeks to get our deposit back. We were in town for a family wedding, but the stress of staying here overshadowed it. The upstairs unit had a horrific smell, like something had died, and after searching we found rotting, moldy food hidden above the fridge. Both apartments smelled so bad that we bought several candles just to tolerate it. There were dirty dishes, crumbs and a dirty sock under the table, along with mold stains in different areas. Both coffee machines were broken, and a chair upstairs had a bloodstain. My son got trapped in a bedroom when the handle fell off. The bathroom towel bar was loose and came off, and the downstairs shower door rails were damaged. This was our worst rental experience by far, despite having booked over 60 places through Booking.com. It was stressful, unsanitary and utterly unacceptable. Rent somewhere else.

I loved arriving to find a Christmas tree and decorations already set up in the apartment. The hosts were fantastic and very helpful. The place was clean, spacious, comfortable, tastefully decorated and furnished, with everything we needed. I highly recommend Gladstone Apartments and will definitely stay there again.

We had a small problem with the shower, but it was sorted out in under 12 hours. The owners were polite and easy to reach. We spent four days at Bluebell rooms on Gladstone Rd in Southampton, and had a wonderful stay. The house was comfortable in a very quiet area, with clean, tidy rooms, comfortable beds, a good temperature, a well-equipped kitchen and a parking space. Check-in and check-out were easy. Strongly recommended for a lovely stay. Javier y Ana

Donna and Kirsty were really helpful throughout my stay. The apartment was cosy and tidy, and the beds were very comfortable. It was a lovely stay in a nice, quiet area, and I’d definitely recommend it.
