The setup looks lovely, but it didn’t feel practical for actually staying in. There’s a supermarket across the road and a Wetherspoons three minutes away, which was handy. But there was no bathroom bin, nowhere to hang towels, no bathroom socket, and no mirror in the main living area. Styling my hair meant using the TV screen as a mirror. There weren’t any tea towels or water glasses either, and washing dishes at the sink wasn’t really possible, despite there being a dishwasher for four plates, four cups and a few glasses. Make sure you book a king-size bed, as ours was too small.

This place could be lovely, but the housekeeping let it down. There was dust on the skirting boards, hair in the bathroom, and flies on the window ledges.

Everything was very clean and modern, with all the amenities you need. It’s in an ideal spot by the sea and Lord Street.

The hosts were friendly, and the modern facilities came with outdoor space where you can relax. Great location too.

The apartment felt luxurious, and the location was fantastic. I’ll stay here again next time I’m in the area.
