We had delicious freshly cooked pizzas in the bar, which was busy with locals and had a friendly feel. The staff were so helpful and accommodating, and we slept well in a lovely clean room, even though it overlooked a roundabout. In the morning we had breakfast by a window looking onto the picturesque street. It's a quirky place, with the cafe, bar and rooms upstairs, and parking was easy at the back. It's simple to reach from the M6 and worked well for our overnight stop on the way north. We'd use it as our local if we lived here, and can recommend it for a night away. Our bedroom was at the top of the house and there was no lift. The stairs weren't too bad, even with my arthritic knees, IYKYK. If you're after rolling hill views, this isn't the spot, but the road didn't disturb us.

The rooms at the top of the house had everything we needed and were clean, comfortable and well appointed. The bed was lovely and we slept really well. Four of us stayed on Saturday night to attend a local wedding. The pub and its staff were excellent, and breakfast was excellent too. We'd gladly stay again and highly recommend it.

A great bar and coffee shop, with lovely surroundings and really good coffee. The staff are amazing and friendly, and they're always happy to help. A perfect spot to pause while exploring Eccleshall.

The room was much bigger and better quality than I expected. It was on the top floor, and we couldn't hear any noise from the busy bar below. Good atmosphere, fantastic breakfast with plenty of options. I'd definitely stay again.

This was our second visit to The Little George while seeing family nearby, and it was just as good. The rooms are large, very comfortable and well equipped. The friendly staff went above and beyond to make sure we had a good stay. Right in the centre of Eccleshall, it's a great base for exploring the town and its many pubs and places to eat.
