We went for Sunday carvery, my husband, daughter-in-law, two grandchildren, and me, and all of us were disappointed. The soup and main course were only lukewarm. The dessert was nearly gone, with bits of different slices left on separate plates, all crumbly and unappetising. It was a waste of money, and we won’t be back.

The restaurant was really good, but our room needed a better clean. There was a sewage smell from the toilet, and the walls were so thin we could hear everything in the other rooms. On our first night, loud, inconsiderate guests kept us from sleeping.

Fir Trees in Strabane was a lovely place for our family get-together. We stayed one night, and the accommodation was clean and cosy, with a warm, welcoming feel. It was well prepared for a short visit and made it easy to reconnect with our loved ones.

The food was good, and the hotel had a nice, relaxed feel. My bedroom was cold when I checked in, though, and the bar got very cold later on.

We had a beautiful meal here today, with generous portions and friendly service at a fair price. The restaurant and bar had a lovely atmosphere for a late family lunch with our three teenagers. Thank you!
