The shower didn’t have enough pressure, and there were bright lights and noise from the beer garden at the adjacent Harvester. I stayed for two nights and asked for the room to be cleaned and fresh towels, but nobody did it. You only get 30 minutes of free Wi-Fi. How tight!

The receptionist was friendly and welcoming, but the room didn’t make a great first impression. It wasn’t very clean, with hair in both the sink and the bath. Apart from that, it wasn’t too bad.

We come here quite often when we’re visiting family, and the location is fantastic. The rooms are new and refurbished, but Jennifer and the rest of the staff deserve a special mention. On our last few visits, Jennifer has gone above and beyond, making sure we have enough tea and coffee, helping with directions, getting check-in sorted smoothly, or just stopping for a friendly chat and smile. We hope she and the others get the recognition they deserve. See you soon!

The room had a damp, musty smell, and it was very noisy. Doors kept banging until 1am. When I checked, it turned out the staff were doing it.

The place was lovely and clean, and the staff were friendly. There was no air conditioning, so you have to leave the windows open. My room faced the road and the Harvester pub beer garden, but honestly the noise didn’t bother me much.
