The owners are fabulous, so friendly and helpful that it feels like being among old friends. The building and setting are beautiful, with amazing views. Totally amazing.

We were really happy at the Old Salt Barn. It’s small, but had enough room for two adults and a dog, and was comfortable. The renovation and decor are lovely, and the kitchen has everything you might need. We also appreciated being able to use the community gaming room when the weather wasn’t great. The area is simply magical. Thanks for a great stay.

The guest slippers were a lovely surprise! ❤️ We loved this cosy little barn conversion, full of character and beautifully renovated. Our hosts welcomed us and were attentive without getting in the way. They also told us about the canal walk behind the property, which made for a very pleasant wander.

The location is a real draw, right beside the canal with living villages about 3km in either direction and five pubs between them. It’s also an excellent base for exploring the Brecon Beacons National Park. Jim and Neil are friendly and helpful, always available for advice without being intrusive. They should be proud of the accommodation they’ve created. It’s been tastefully refurbished to a high standard, with every detail thought through, from the razor sharp knives to the stunning claw foot bath. We loved staying at the spacious Old Byre, where traditional farmhouse style blends seamlessly with chic modern touches. It’s warm and comfortable, and the log burner made the evening cosy when we had people over. It was incredibly easy to light, with everything provided. The hosts are committed to the environment and welcomed our dogs and electric car just as warmly.

The stylish apartments are cosy, comfortable and well equipped, and Jim and Neil were superb hosts. Llandetty Hall Farm sits in beautiful Brecon beside an interesting canal, with a walk along it to some nice pubs in the nearby village. We had a truly wonderful stay. What could be nicer? Recommended.
