Wayne had the heating on before we arrived, and the accommodation was immaculate, spacious, and just right for a couple of nights. He greeted us so warmly and personally, and was incredibly helpful when we needed to change dates at very short notice after travelling nearly 400 miles from North East England. We hear there are plans to expand Celtic Lodges and wish Wayne all the best with that. Looking forward to coming back in October 2026.

The double room was very good, but the single bed wasn't comfortable at all. The host was welcoming. The lodges are dated now, though the price reflects that, and there are plans to replace them with new ones.

Beautiful setting and a fabulous host. Everything was impeccably clean and comfortable, with all the amenities you get at home. Do stay here!

Fresh milk in the fridge made afternoon coffee a real treat, and the cabin had cutlery, plates, and washing up supplies ready to use. It was warm and cozy, with heating we could adjust, and the beds were neatly made and smelled fresh. Wayne welcomed us warmly and shared some local things to see and do. The driveway and property were beautifully kept, with care clear throughout. I'd happily return next time I'm in Scotland, maybe even make a special trip for it. Thanks, Wayne, for the hospitality, worth every penny. Please excuse the bike gear in the photos.
