I arrived early and without a booking for a meal, while waiting for the ferry to Orkney. They welcomed me and found me a spot straight away. Service was fast and efficient, and the meal was lovely and tasty. I’d definitely come back.

The Northlink Ferry Terminal is so convenient from here, and there’s a pub and restaurant attached, both of which are great. We had excellent dinner and breakfast. The staff were friendly, obliging, and efficient, and the welcome was wonderfully chatty without being intrusive.

There were 10 of us truckers stranded up in scrabster for the weekend. We didn’t make it into the pub until 9:30, and missed the food, but the barmaid went and got a meal deal for the boys. Legends. I was absolutely smashed, the place was packed, and we had a cracking night. If you’re ever in, look above the door behind the bar. 10/10 🤣😂🤣

I loved having the local seafood chowder in the bar with a wee pint of local IPA. The Inn is a cozy little place right in the heart of Stromness, with a clean, comfortable attic room. Staff were warm, friendly, and happy to help. Hope I get to come back!

We had a nice view of the busy port from our windows, and even spotted a man feeding a seal. The room wasn’t modern, but it had what we needed apart from a hairdryer. Staff at both the Hotel & Restaurant were friendly and accommodating. Room 5 also had the best loo view we’ve ever had. We came in with low expectations and left pleasantly surprised.
