Lindores Bed and Breakfast

A superb full English breakfast and especially comfy beds made our stay a pleasure. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable, and our host was friendly, helpful and accommodating. It's close to the town centre, too. We'd definitely stay here again.

The breakfast was very nice, and the hotel was clean and close to the centre. But I was very disappointed with the room, especially for the price. It was a small, dark room in the eaves with poor lighting. The beds were uncomfortable, and the wardrobes were so tiny I couldn't hang a three-quarter-length coat. It was cold overnight with no extra blankets, and the shower water was cold. I told the landlady the next morning, but she didn't offer a discount.

We stayed for two nights with five other family members. The hostess was lovely and polite, and the rooms were clean, but they felt outdated and were extremely overpriced. The showers were inadequate, often going cold and losing all water pressure, which put a damper on my evening. The light in our family's room didn't work, and it was difficult to get it working again because the host wasn't there. I wouldn't recommend staying until the rooms are updated and made more usable. A Premier Inn or another chain a little out of town would be a much more pleasant experience, with better room and equipment standards.

Mirandi is a brilliant, friendly host. The B&B is very clean, good value for the cost, and close to everything we needed, including public transport. The local market and Centre vale park are both just a short walk away. I'd definitely recommend it!
