My boyfriend and I have only been here twice, and both times the workers were incredibly rude and arrogant. We went in to play pool, and before long an older lady came over asking for ID. I showed mine, then she sternly told my boyfriend we needed to be careful with the table and accused me of dragging the cue. She kept bringing up that it cost £300. She spoke to him about what I was doing while I stood right there, instead of addressing me directly. It felt like the workers would rather not have customers at all. Go here if you want a guaranteed awful night and terrible service.

Three football games were on the TV, and we got a very warm welcome. I’d have given it more stars if there’d been some food, even just a snack like a sandwich or chips.

Free wifi, parking round the back, and clean toilets. It’s a spacious pub with TVs everywhere, good music, three dartboards, a pool table, and a lovely garden for Towcester centre. Recommended for the lads.

A local pub on the A45 with real ale, lots of TVs, a pool table, and table tennis outside. There’s a big outdoor seating area and a car park.

The Peacock is fine for a cheap drink, but there’s often trouble and people doing drugs, and something always seems to be kicking off. It’s somewhere to go with the regular crowd, rather than as a newcomer.
