The hotel’s service fell far below what I’d expect, and I wouldn’t recommend staying here. I emailed during my stay to raise concerns but got no response at first, so I had to file a formal complaint afterwards. The reply eventually sent contained several factual errors and tried to dismiss my concerns as “personal issues” instead of acknowledging the clear customer service failings. The standard of care from management was especially disappointing. The executive room wasn’t worth the extra cost. It was a long way from the lobby and near the motorway, so it was noticeably noisy. The lounge’s food and drink hours weren’t clearly explained in the advertising and didn’t fit when I needed access. The choices were poor: cold cheese, pate and crackers, plus small plates of dry macaroni cheese. I left and ordered room service. When the lounge was open, its food and alcohol options drew an overcrowded crowd it clearly couldn’t handle, making it loud and unpleasant. Parking was a hassle too. I couldn’t work out how to add it in the Marriott app, so I emailed separately and was told it had been added to my booking. At check-in, the front desk staff said I hadn’t added it and asked me to prove otherwise in a way that made it seem they thought I was lying. I immediately showed them the email confirmation, but they stayed rude and confrontational. Reception was an extremely uncomfortable experience. The hotel also misrepresents what it offers. The shuttle bus isn’t included, despite how it may look when booking. It costs £4 each way, an extra charge that wasn’t made clear enough. It only picks up from Terminal 2, not Terminal 1, which means a long walk that also isn’t clearly advertised.

The room was really lovely, clean and spacious, and the food was great. It’s super close to the airport, just off the M56, so it was an amazing stay. The sweetest staff member ever was at reception when I checked in on the 26/2/26. Her name was Serena, and she was literally the kindest, so friendly and accommodating. Give my girl a raise ASAP 🫶🏼. I’d highly recommend it!!
The spa was lovely, with a great swimming pool, steam room and sauna. The hotel also has a conference centre, a transfer bus to the airport that runs every 25 minutes, and two lovely onsite restaurants, one French and one Italian. The food was amazing and presented really well. My room was well equipped, and the staff were amazing. I had a great stay and will visit again. Many thanks to everyone involved.
The rooms and leisure centre were amazing, and it’s a family-friendly hotel in a good location for Manchester Airport, with an Uber stand for getting a ride there. I’d recommend it. There was no posted signage, though, and people slipped. There was also a crack in the pool tiles near the stairs.
I was here for one night on a work trip, and the front desk attendant accidentally cancelled my room after checking me in. While I was in the bath, a staff member kept knocking and trying to get in. I had to jump out to explain that I’d paid and checked in. My phone got wet and I couldn’t charge it. Five minutes later, while I was still bathing, they called the room, confused that anyone was in there. I had to go to the front desk with my key card and explain all over again. They said it was sorted, with barely an apology for the extra stress. I’ve now realised they charged me twice, so getting a refund has caused even more stress.
