The meals were genuinely great, and every one exceeded my expectations. The room at The Loans Inn was comfortable and spotless, which matters a lot to me since I can be particular about cleanliness. A fantastic stay.

We loved our stay and will definitely be back. The location was just right, close to the shops and lovely seafront, and the hotel was easy to find with free parking available. Our voucher also included an hour at the nearby Gailes Hotel spa, which was a lovely extra. Dinner had lots of choice and the food was fresh, delicious and served in generous portions. Breakfast was a particular favourite, with both continental and hot options included. It was one of the best hotel breakfast setups we’ve had. The staff were so nice throughout. My mum and I booked through a voucher deal that was excellent value. The hotel itself is stunning, with beautiful decor and a cosy, comfortable feel. Our room was perfect, spotless and had everything we needed. We especially liked the nice toiletries, a thoughtful touch. We couldn’t fault a thing.

We enjoyed the meal with friends enough to bring our family of 11 back the next day. The staff were friendly from the moment we arrived, and there was a great choice on the menu. The special 2 for £19.95 deal was excellent. Everything came hot in good portions and tasted really good. I’d recommend this restaurant over others nearby.

We’ve been several times and will come again. It’s a place where generations can enjoy a meal together. The staff were so kind to our granddaughter, who was celebrating her 3rd birthday. She loved making her own pizza, and the candle on the ice cream and the banner were lovely touches. The service was exemplary. We had a very tasty meal, including a delicious starter of haggis, black pudding and tattie scone, and the haddock was fresh and full of flavour. It was such an enjoyable experience for her. There was a field just outside the back door for walking the dog, and a doggy lounge if needed. They’d clearly thought of everything for dogs, including a bowl with treats and another for water. Our dog friendly room was spotless, and the refreshment tray even had Tunnocks wafers! A lovely hotel with friendly staff, great rooms and delicious food. We’ll certainly visit again. WELL DONE!
