The rooms are spacious, and breakfast was superb, with a really attentive hostess. Our hosts were lovely and nothing was too much trouble. The farmhouse has loads of character, from its original cob walls and uneven floors to the low, narrow doorways. A great place if you appreciate old buildings. We'd highly recommend it.
Lynn and Colin were so welcoming and lovely with my little boy, while still giving us space. We especially enjoyed the peaceful change of having no TV, and breakfast was great, with fruit and a full English. The family cot and high chair were invaluable, and after speaking with Lynn during booking, I was really looking forward to the stay. We'll come back next time we're in Somerset. Thank you both.
The chance to meet a calf born on the night we arrived was a real highlight. We had a charming stay at Canonsgrove farm, with delicious breakfasts and hosts who were a pleasure to talk to. A lovely place to stay, highly recommended. Thanks for having us!
Lin and Colin were so helpful, and the atmosphere was lovely. They even lit the Woodburner for us one evening. We stayed three nights in this lovely sixteenth century farmhouse, in a quirky room, and had wonderful breakfasts.
There's an old well in a downstairs cupboard, which gives the place so much character. The people were lovely, and the room has kept its old-fashioned look, like the rest of the house. Fascinating.
