Ardvreck House

Ullapool is only a couple of minutes down the hill by car, and the view from here was fantastic. The croft was easy to find, with clearly marked parking and plenty of space. Jamie was friendly and so helpful. The room was thoughtfully set up with plates, cutlery, a toaster and a fridge. The beds were very comfortable, and their arrangement meant we couldn’t see each other, which gave us a bit of privacy. Couldn’t have asked for better.

Jamie welcomed my wife and me into this lovely home and gave us a great picture of things to do and places to visit. Croft 17 felt like a home away from home. Thank you so much.

We only stayed two nights, and that wasn’t nearly enough. We’ll definitely come back when we’re in the area. The continental breakfast was ample, with cereals, fruit, breads and preserves. You could also heat porridge or beans in the microwave. Our king-sized room was spacious and relaxing, with a comfortable mattress, warmth and lovely views down to the loch. The bathroom was very large and had a grand walk-in shower. Jaimie has only been renting the two bedrooms since April, and is already doing an outstanding job.

Jamie was a great host and really accommodating when we were terribly late checking out with all our kit. The rooms were superbly comfy, and the place itself is beautiful, a lovely option if you just need a break. I’ll 100% stay again. Thanks from me and Benj!
