The Punch Bowl

Right in the centre, with clean, comfortable rooms that are a little small. The views are good and the heating works brilliantly. There’s no room service, but breakfast is included: help yourself in the kitchen. Free internet with surprisingly good speed, plus free TV. It’s a pub too, and the prices are very fair. The owner was really helpful and polite. Only downside is the free parking is limited and goes to whoever gets there first. Recommended!

A pleasant local pub with good beer and sports on TV. Having two bars means they can put on two different games at once, which is handy when football and rugby are on together. There isn’t food beyond pies and sausage rolls, but the beer and service are good all the same.

The room was spotless, the bed was really comfortable, and there were tea and coffee facilities in there. The bathroom’s shower was small but hot and had plenty of power. There’s also a shared kitchen and dining space with tea, coffee, croissants, cereal and toast laid out. Staff were friendly and genuinely helpful. Given how convenient the location is, the prices are excellent. We’ll definitely stay again.

We stayed overnight for the Dragonslayer event at Warwick Castle. The room was lovely and the facilities were great. There was a band playing that evening, which made for an awesome atmosphere. They also offered a nice continental breakfast. Thanks for having us!
