The owners made us feel so welcome, and nothing seemed too much trouble. We met several people who come back regularly, which made sense after our stay. The town house was spotless, and breakfast was delicious. Our room had a proper coffee machine, a decent hairdryer and the other things you need to be comfortable. Clarence House is a great base for seeing Dorset’s interesting places. Some other hotels we’ve stayed in could learn a lot from how this place is run. Highly recommended.

The rooms were neat and very clean, and we loved the delicious breakfast. Karen and her family were fantastic hosts. The location was just right, close to the beach and the lovely harbour. Martina and I will definitely stay again.

Karen and Richard took great care of us. The rooms were lovely and breakfast was top tier. It’s a perfect base for exploring Weymouth and the surrounding area. I was actually sad to leave and head back to reality.

I stayed with my daughter for two nights this week, and we had a fabulous time. Karen and Richard made us feel at home, the rooms were spotless, and breakfast was fantastic. We hope to come back soon and highly recommend this B&B.

We were nervous about our first hotel stay since Covid 19, but Karen and Richard put us at ease and made us very welcome. The room was cleaned to an extremely high standard. Karen said she was leaving a full day between bookings because cleaning each room to Covid standard took her the whole day. The food was excellent too. We’ll certainly stay again if we’re in the area.
