I love the upstairs kitchen area, with dishes, cups, a microwave, a sink, and somewhere to sit. The B&B is close to pubs, restaurants, shops, and the castle, too. It’s lovely and really quiet. On my last visit, it felt more like home than just a home away from home.

I came across Langton House while driving around Windsor on a business stay. The free parking right in the centre was a real bonus. The room was great value, especially with the fantastic English breakfast and free Internet included. Shops and restaurants are only a short walk away, with so many places to eat. Next time I’ll bring my wife.

After 15 stays, Langton House still feels like my home in Windsor, and I can’t wait for number 16. I often travel alone and always feel safe there. Chris, the capable manager, is on site and very helpful. Paul and Sonja Fogg own the B&B, which sits on a quiet, leafy street with pubs and restaurants within walking distance. The centre of Windsor is an easy, fascinating walk. After the long flight from LAX to Heathrow, it’s a comfort to come back to such a welcoming place. The 1890 Victorian house has been updated over time without losing its charm. I’ve stayed in all five rooms, and each has its own character and a comforting view. They’re quiet, with what I assume are thick walls. The bathrooms are sparkling and updated, the beds are comfortable, and the sheets and pillowcases are always crisp and spotless. There are large armoires for clothes, too. I’ve stayed at B&Bs around the world, but Langton House is the only one I’ve found with its own Guest Kitchen. It has cutlery, plates, cups, a microwave, and a refrigerator, with biscuits, tea, and hot chocolate always available. A plentiful Continental breakfast is included in the room price, and Chris can make a delicious hot breakfast for a bit extra.

I’ve stayed at Langton House many times for nearby business and before morning flights from London Heathrow Airport. Mr Fogg is always keen to help and is a good host, offering local tips and directions when I need somewhere to eat or want to know how to get there. The rooms are always 100% clean, with plenty of towels, nice soap, and a really good breakfast. It has to be the best B&B in the area. Recommended.

It’s an ideal family-run B&B for a quiet getaway. I liked the large King-sized rooms, the cozy bed, and the affordable rates. Aga and the rest of the staff were really friendly and helpful. We had the generous Continental breakfast, with lots of tea. Town centre and Windsor Castle are both within walking distance, so it’s easy to get to all the amenities. I’d definitely return. I hear it gets busy from March to September, so book early! Sackey & Lucy
