Rooms Hotel - Batumi

Our stay at Rooms Hotel Batumi was deeply disturbing and completely destroyed our trust in the hotel. On May 26, 2026, at about 14:00-15:00, my spouse and I were naked and showering in our room when a male hotel employee entered without permission, saying he was there for minibar service. The bathroom door was open, and although the shower made it hard for us to hear knocking, it’s difficult to believe he didn’t realize the room was occupied. Worse, he stayed inside instead of leaving straight away, leaving us humiliated and disturbed. The hotel later said he had followed “internal procedures.” If that is really the procedure, guests should question the hotel’s privacy and security standards. We formally asked them to preserve the CCTV footage and electronic access logs for the incident. Management responded in a cold, defensive way that seemed more focused on protecting the hotel than its guests. No luxury hotel should allow staff to enter an occupied room in those circumstances. If privacy, dignity and feeling safe in your room matter to you, I strongly recommend choosing another hotel in Batumi.

You can feel the quiet courtyard from the lobby, with its palms and green grass, and it brings a real sense of calm. The hotel feels like a hidden wonderland, beautifully set up for unwinding. Rooms are cleverly designed with wood and minimalist touches throughout. Breakfast was great, with everything you could wish for, and the staff wore especially designed, stylish uniforms. Time seems to stop here, and you feel far from the world’s crowds. Big brands don’t need to advertise, and this hotel’s name and service say it all.

The rooftop restaurant was a highlight, with great food and lovely views. At check-in I got an upgrade, which made for a really nice start, and the reception manager was generous with tips when I asked about dining. The rooms are huge and clearly well thought out. I booked two nights at first, then kept extending my stay. If I’m back in Batumi, I’ll stay at Rooms Batumi again without hesitation.

They even surprised us with a little gift after our engagement, which was so thoughtful and completely unexpected. The whole place was clean, lovely, and well looked after, and the staff were kind, welcoming, and quick to help. We had a wonderful stay. Thank you, you’re amazing! Highly recommend.
