The room was just as described and shown in the photos, and they even brought us a Turkish coffee pot when we asked. Sergey showed us how to get to the metro and the best currency exchange nearby, and gave us public transportation cards. He and Kristina are wonderful, gracious hosts. After we booked, Sergey got in touch to confirm when we’d arrive, and we were able to check in early at 11 a.m. We had a great experience, both in Georgia and with our choice of accommodation. Sergey and Kristina are warm and hospitable hosts. The room was spotless, with cleaning supplies including a broom, dustpan, and mop. All the furniture was in good condition, and the renovation was excellent. The photos on Booking.com were accurate. It had two rooms: a bedroom with a single and a double bed, and a kitchen-living room with chairs and a sofa bed. Four people can stay there. We found a refrigerator, TV, washing machine, air conditioning, iron and ironing board, hair dryer, electric kettle, stovetop, and kitchen utensils. The bathroom had a sink, toilet, and shower with sides and a curtain, and the floor stayed dry after use. Two days before our trip, Sergey messaged detailed directions and their geolocation. He checked our flight time, 3:30 AM, and said he’d wait for us. We arrived at 5:00 AM and he let us check in, even though the regular check-in time was 2:00 PM. He’s not pushy, but is available by messenger and ready to help. The metro is a 10-15-minute walk away, with access to the city center. You can eat, exchange money, and go anywhere from there. There’s a Metromoney card in the room, which you need to top up at an ATM or metro station. It costs 1 lari and can be used for 90 minutes. The house is on a hill, which is a climb after a day exploring Tbilisi. You can also take minibus 434 from the metro for 1 lari, or a taxi, which cost us 5 lari. There’s a playground nearby and several Spar stores with a fairly good selection at reasonable prices. Of all the places I stayed in other Georgian cities, this was the best. I’d definitely stay with Sergey and Kristina again if I return to Tbilisi.

All the photos are real, and the street is quiet. The center is close by, so book ahead. This triple room is fabulous, with air conditioning, a stove, washing machine, refrigerator, hairdryer, dishes, kettle, cutlery, iron, and TV. There’s also a small table outside the room for a casual get-together.

A very clean, cozy guest house, and the metro is an easy walk away.
