Doors Meidan Design Hotel

The hotel has a cozy feel that brings back the old days, and its renovation was done cleverly. It's also close to all the destinations in Tbilisi. We wanted a welcoming place for our family, and the friendly treatment made us feel at home. I'd recommend it for families and friends, and you might meet new friends there too. The soundproofing is awful. You can hear everyone and everything in the other rooms, so if noise bothers you or keeps you from sleeping, don't book here. It could leave your trip unpleasant, mess up your sleep schedule and make you more irritable from being short on sleep. I'm honestly very disappointed.

It's very clean, and the traditional interior and nice location were highlights. You can walk to most attractions. The walls are rather thin, though, and there are only wooden stairs, so taking heavy luggage up is inconvenient. The staff will help carry it upstairs. Not bad in the end, and the staff were friendly and helpful.

You can hear what's happening in the neighboring rooms all night, as if there were no walls, including your drunk neighbors. When I asked for a refund, the manager got aggressive and didn't try to help. Since you'd already paid the full amount, she acted as if the problem was yours alone and she didn't care.
