Galo was cheap and right across from the train station, which is why I chose it. I ended up being really pleased with the warm staff and the comfortable room.

The apartment had good internet, hot water and a washing machine, and Ana was such a great host. Really good place for the price!

10/10
It's peaceful and comfortable here, and the apartments have been renovated to a high standard. I found the place very clean and cozy, with a kitchen and the basic utensils for making your own meal. The staff are friendly, and the hostess is a lovely young woman who speaks Russian and English well. Hostel Galo is near Station Square, with easy public transport and metro connections around Tbilisi and beyond. Security is top-notch, and there's a police station nearby. A good choice if you're after quality at an affordable price. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Georgian capital.

The walls are thin, so street sounds and neighbors come through. Apart from that, the bed is really comfortable and the room is nice. Good for sleeping well before moving on.

The train station and Tbilisi's main market are close by. The place is clean, well-maintained, and the staff are friendly and helpful.
