Hotel Boutique Meidan View

The photos made it look like a nice place when we booked, but it really wasn't. There were long black hairs everywhere and a used preservative under the bed. They weren't nice to us, and when we said we didn't want to stay, they made us pay for the night. It's disgusting, and I'd say it's a hoax. Don't go there by any chance.

The room was a reasonable size, but it was in poor condition. The TV and refrigerator didn't work, the bed was uncomfortable, and the blinds let in all the light. The old window wasn't soundproof, so noise from the busy street came straight in. Since the hotel is on a steep hill, cars make a lot of noise accelerating uphill and skidding constantly, and it was impossible to rest. The bathroom was very old, with a small tub that leaked and flooded the whole room. There were lots of hairs from previous guests and ants. They clean every 3 days and don't even replace the toilet paper. Breakfast was poor and lacked variety. The hotel is very close to the center, about a 3-minute walk, though the climb up is hard. Calling it a 2-star hotel is already too generous.

The location is great, just a 2-minute walk from Europa square and the Old Town. The room was VERY small, though. The guy at reception was very nice and tried to answer our questions.

The place was very clean and peaceful, and breakfast was good for what you pay. Manager Mr. Damien was friendly and helpful. The location is very good, close to the main center, and there are many Indian hotels around. I recommend it to anyone wanting to stay connected in the center. Overall, a superb experience.
