Hotel Janashia

The breakfast had lots of fresh choices and was delicious. Our room was comfortable and clean, and the location worked perfectly. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful too. I had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.

Lena was a great host, always attentive to what guests needed. The hotel is small, with a nice breakfast and a handy spot very close to Tbilisi’s old city. It’s reasonably priced too, and I’d recommend it.

Hello. We were woken in the afternoon by a hotel worker shouting on the phone near our room. Breakfast didn’t start until 9 am, and the cooks were smoking in the kitchen. Three salads were missing, along with buckwheat and boiled eggs. The sausage was dry, drinks were replaced with water, and the coffee machine made coffee that tasted like water. The cooks were very aggressive about everything. The cigarette smoke was everywhere, and eating was impossible because the smell made us feel sick. There wasn’t a towel in the room. I don’t recommend staying here.

We arrived at 7 am because our flight got in early, even though check-in wasn’t meant to be until 2 pm. We expected just to leave our bags, but the rooms were ready, so they let us in early and gave us breakfast, which was reasonable. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, with plenty of hot water. The staff were friendly, though their English was limited. It’s a lovely hotel about a five-minute walk from lots of attractions, restaurants, and bars. I’d happily return and recommend it to others.
