On my first day in Georgia, the hotel representative insisted I cancel my Booking.com reservation, even though I’d paid the full amount. Then I was told I had to pay again or be kicked out. I didn’t feel safe staying with someone so unfriendly, so I found another place. More than half my booked days were still unused when I asked for a refund, but the representative refused. I had the same situation twice during the interaction: I was pressured to cancel after paying in full, then told to pay again or leave. When I asked again for the money back for the unused days, the answer was that it would never happen.

The owner was pleasant to talk with and speaks Russian, and getting invoices for a business trip was easy. It’s a decent aparthotel at a reasonable price. The rooms have kitchens, which let us cook for the family and save quite a bit on restaurants. The bathroom isn’t fancy, but it’s clean, neat, and works fine.

The receptionist was excellent, and having parking and a metro station nearby was handy. The room was fine, though the bathroom could use some work. A good aparthotel.
