Bed bugs turned up in our two-room booking, and the way it was handled was awful. On day one, I found them in my room and asked to move. Reception said there were absolutely no bed bugs at the hotel and suggested they might have come from previous guests, so we trusted them and stayed. On the third day, they appeared in my mother’s room too. Reception then offered another room, but it was our departure day. One receptionist asked whether we had stayed somewhere else before, seeming to blame us instead of taking responsibility. They clearly hadn’t taken my first report seriously, and the manager was probably never told. This is a serious hygiene and health problem: bed bugs can get into luggage and clothes and spread to your home, causing lasting trouble. I strongly warn people not to stay here. Very poor hygiene!!!!

I’ve been at this hotel for four days. The staff are respectful, and the daily cleaning is thorough and good. Breakfast is acceptable, but the location is the best part: tourist attractions are all around, no more than a 20-minute walk away.

We’ll definitely come back. Breakfast was really tasty, and the hotel is well placed for exploring Tbilisi’s streets, restaurants, and nightlife. Check-in was easy and pleasant, the room was comfortable and good quality, and they welcomed us with a bottle of wine.

The Wi-Fi was very poor, but everything else made for a very good one-night stay. The room was clean, the staff were friendly, and the hotel is close to the centre. Breakfast was amazing, and I’d stay again.

There are hundreds of places to eat around Kalasi Hotel, which sits between the old and new city centres. Head one way for the newer, more modern side, or the other for the historic area. My room and bathroom were clean and nice; after staying at three hotels in Georgia, this one had the cleanest and nicest bathroom by far. Breakfast was delicious and always replenished. Other hotels had very limited food, but that wasn’t an issue here. The reception staff were super friendly. Thanks, guys!
