Paragraph Freedom Square, A Luxury Collection Hotel, Tbilisi

We had a wonderful week in Tbilisi, and the staff were so friendly and accommodating, with thoughtful touches throughout. At 6pm, someone brought Georgian delicacies to our door. Breakfast ran from 6:30 to 11am and had loads of choices, and there were free wine tastings every day from 5-6pm. Our fifth-floor room had a spectacular view, especially at night, and even had a Japanese-style toilet, which our family loved. The hotel is right at Freedom Square, across from the National Gallery and around the corner from the National Museum. It’s stunning, and it seems to have every detail covered. Thank you so much!

The rooms were beautiful and comfortable, with excellent beds and heated bathroom floors. The interior design is striking, the breakfast buffet was great, and I enjoyed the spa massage. We also dined at Ostrigan Restaurant during our week at Paragraph Hotel. The service was the weak point. Staff rarely greeted guests, smiles were uncommon, and they often seemed distant or too cool to be friendly. As a Georgian, I found that embarrassing, since the stay didn’t feel like traditional Georgian hospitality. The express laundry cost 800 GEL, nearly the price of a night at the hotel, which felt ridiculous. Lobby food was just okay, with no standout flavors, and whenever we called the hotel, nobody answered. It was an okay stay for the comfort and views, but the service was below average.

The central location made it easy to explore Tbilisi, and the modern rooms were spacious, with views across the city. The staff throughout the hotel were helpful and friendly. Natia’s wine tasting is well worth joining, both for trying Georgian wines and for hearing her deep knowledge of them.

Helena, the reception manager, deserves a special mention. She helped me so much and did everything she could to make my holiday perfect. She’s professional and kind, and you can tell she puts her whole heart into the work. Well done, Helena. It’s clear you love what you do. The staff were always available, smiling, and helpful. The facilities, design, pool, and spa are all excellent. For sure, this is the best hotel in Tbilisi, and one of the best in Europe.
