Pino Vere Palace Hotel

The staff were upbeat, and the place was neat and well kept. Families can settle in comfortably, with plenty of Georgian dishes to try. It has a peaceful, healthy feel that made it seem like a home away from home. I left feeling the service was dependable and the atmosphere welcoming. 🙌

We were five families, and all of us left early. The breakfast was stale bread and eggs, the room lights didn't work, and nobody cleaned our room until we'd complained for three days. Then they finally sent someone. The lift was out of order, which was especially difficult for my elderly mother with the stairs. The swimming pool also had very limited hours. Our flight was delayed, and with two toddlers we asked the owner, a lady, to keep just one room for two extra hours. She shouted at us and demanded more money. I understand there are rules, but the way we were spoken to was incredibly disrespectful. The chef, who is the owner's sister, was also rude and kept shouting. I wouldn't stay here again.

The parking and breakfast were good, and the girls at reception were warm, polite, and easy to talk to. I didn't get their names, but they were the reason I added a second star. There were some small technical problems, including the room and toilet doors, and stains on the sheets and towels. Things felt fine until just after checkout time, at 12:03. Housekeeping, according to the receptionist, knocked without getting a response, then unlocked our room and left. By the time we reached the door nobody was there. They should have checked first that the room was empty.

After two nights, we moved to another hotel. We had repeated power and water cuts, poor Wi-Fi, and a smell of cooking oil in the room. The room was untidy, there was no air conditioning, and the location was dirty. Breakfast was poor too. The service and the way staff treated us left us absolutely disappointed.
