Sandali Metekhi Boutique Hote

We had a memorable stay at Sandali Metekhi Hotel when we first got to Tbilisi. We arrived well before check-in, and the staff kindly let us use room 501 for a few hours at half price. The view from there was breathtaking. Later we moved to our glass room, 103, with a glass floor on the balcony and the river visible below, a really unique experience. Everyone was friendly and welcoming, and they gave us a complimentary bottle of Georgian wine. We don’t drink and left it unopened, but appreciated the thoughtful gesture and lovely presentation. For a broad horizon view, I’d pick an upper floor room. Room 103 is a great choice if you want the glass balcony and ground-floor experience. Beautiful and comfortable, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting Tbilisi.

The view is amazing, and the room is comfortable and nice. I wish the balcony had more privacy, since it opens onto other rooms’ balconies. Breakfast gets 6/10 from me, it needs more variety and halal meat options.

We got a free room upgrade and were also allowed a late checkout, which was great. The staff were kind, the room clean, and service good. Breakfast was tasty and the location was excellent. This was the best hotel I’ve stayed at in Georgia, and I recommend it to everyone.

The location really stood out, with many of Tbilisi’s popular attractions conveniently close by. We stayed five nights on our last visit and had a very positive experience. The room and bathroom were both a good size, and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was included, with lots of choices and everything tasted great. The whole hotel and our room were spotlessly clean, and the service was friendly and pleasant. Highly recommended.
