Staying here felt like being at my grandmother's house. Such a wonderful hotel and such a warm feeling. Everyone should get to experience it at least once. I'll definitely come back.

Everything was clean and tidy, and it was a very cozy, quiet hotel. The staff were friendly and polite, and always tried to accommodate our requests, which we especially appreciated. The location is excellent. In my opinion it's convenient to reach from the airport, and the train station is right in front of the hotel. From there you can transfer toward Russia or Armenia.

I arrived in Georgia for the first time, alone at night, carrying a huge backpack. This was the first hotel I came across. They wanted 150 GEL, way beyond what I could afford, so I politely asked to use the Wi-Fi just to work out where to go. I went outside, then the owner came out and shooed me away, saying I shouldn't stand there using their Wi-Fi. That's the local "hospitality" I encountered. I was so stunned I decided to write this review.

It's a new and nice hotel, and it's listed on popular booking systems. Getting to the old town by Yandex taxi takes about three minutes and costs 3 lari, roughly 1 euro. Ortachala bus station is nearby, with connections to Baku and Tehran. Russian bus companies run from there too.
