Agoo Hostel

Dinner was delicious: rice and lentils with vegetable sauce and salad for 35 cedis. They also served a complimentary breakfast of sliced bread, marmalade, butter, boiled eggs, and fruit salad. The other guests were friendly, and there's a library stocked with contemporary books. I liked the African art and fabrics used around the place, and there's table tennis outside. The free WiFi was relatively fast too. I loved staying here and would definitely come back.

We made Agoo our base in Accra while traveling around Ghana, and the cleanliness, friendly people, and flexibility with our accommodations all surpassed what we expected. It was my first hostel stay, and I have only good things to say. They made us feel at home. We'll come back on our next visit and recommend it to travelers whether they're new to hostels or not.

The decor was nice, and my first night in Ghana here went well. I had a comfortable bed and a hot shower, which is rare in Ghana, plus a decent breakfast included in the morning. I'll stay again.

I've been here twice while visiting Accra and would happily book again, whether for one night or a few. The welcome is warm, the food is good, and the beds and showers are very nice. If they have space, book it.
