Tina's Apartments

The room was dirty when I checked in: stained sheets, dead mosquitoes all over the bathroom walls, and black hair and dirt in the sink. I messaged them asking for it to be cleaned the next day, but never got a reply. When I returned, nothing had been cleaned, and they hadn’t even emptied the bathroom bin. Since toilet paper can’t be flushed in Greece, that was especially unpleasant. They left the tiny bathroom bin full throughout my stay, so my other rubbish, including water bottles, just piled up. I never heard back from them. I’d told them in advance I’d arrive early and wanted to leave my bags, but after several calls they said they’d be there in 10 minutes. After 25 minutes, with a bus to catch, I asked where to leave the bags and was told to leave them at reception, where the front door stands wide open day and night. I did, and it was fine. In the evening, the key was waiting in my room door. Absolute disgrace!

I stayed four nights at Tina’s apartments. The room was clean, but the amenities were really outdated, especially the bathroom. The shower door only shuts halfway, so water gets everywhere. It didn’t bother me much since I was only sleeping there, and the staff were lovely. Dora was very friendly and attentive.

The location was good, but that was about it. There was never anyone at the front desk to help at check-in. The room was basic, the bed very uncomfortable, and the shower was old and moldy, with a shower head that wouldn’t stay attached to the wall. The walls were so thin we could hear the neighbours snoring and banging cupboards. They only took out the trash and didn’t clean the room or provide fresh sheets, towels, or soap. The building’s front door was propped open even at night, which felt completely unsafe. Avoid this place.

The bathroom window looks straight into the reception, which felt odd. Showering was also a problem: water covered the floor, the shower filled up, and foam came pouring out of the sink. We arrived 30 minutes early, and although the room was ready, they wouldn’t let us use the bathroom. They offered to keep our luggage at reception. When we said we needed to go to the bathroom, the receptionist left, leaving the bags alone and unattended, so we stayed there with them.
