We couldn't stay in the room at Cretan Village. We arrived around 2 AM after a long trip with our two small children, and as soon as we went in they started crying. The place looked extremely old, dirty, and unpleasant, nothing like the pictures online, so we left in the middle of the night to find another hotel. I went to reception the next day to explain that we'd booked somewhere else because we couldn't stay there. The lady was rude and shouted at us instead of understanding. She also threatened that we still had to pay the government's tax, even though we'd already paid it at the new hotel where we actually stayed. We had booked through Love Holidays and paid the full amount in advance. This hotel ruined our vacation. We expected a dream holiday, but it turned into a nightmare. I don't recommend it at all. Stay away, it was a horrible experience.

The hotel staff were very pleasant and helpful, and breakfast was tasty and standard. It sits on a hill near some of the best sandy beaches, with impressive sea views from the room. I'd recommend it to everyone 👍

The apartments were clean and comfortable, and the staff were so friendly. We loved the lovely design, great location, tasty food, and amazing view. Perfect place, and we'll definitely come back! 💛

The hotel was clean, with very large rooms done in an authentic Greek style. The nearby beaches are sheltered by mountains from big waves, so swimming felt safe even on windy days. There are three nice beaches close by, a bus stop near the hotel, and good views. Everything felt made with heart and soul.
