Akti Corali

For a seaside stay in Crete, this is a lovely hotel for the price. George, the proprietor, was welcoming and helpful, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The bathroom was a little small, but perfectly manageable. Anna at the outdoor bar was our favorite bartender of the trip.

Ana really made us feel welcome during our stay. She was warm, professional, always smiling, and helped with anything we needed, including useful local tips. She went above and beyond, and felt like the heart of the hotel. The location is right by the beach, with clear water just steps away and beautiful sunsets. Our room was clean, modern, well kept, and had what we needed for a comfortable stay. I'd happily return to this relaxed, friendly hotel near Heraklion, and hope Ana is still there when I do.

Akti Corali was a lovely choice for our honeymoon in Crete. The staff were so welcoming and helpful, especially Alex and the ladies, who made the stay sweet and relaxing. Our room had plenty of space and a balcony with a beach view, and having both a pool and beachfront was very practical. The hotel is also well placed for Heraklion and other beaches worth visiting. A few useful things we learned: buses 1 and 6 leave from just outside Heraklion airport and take about 30 minutes to get near the hotel. If you can, take bus 6, which stops right in front. Renting a car is highly advisable, and Holiday Cars, with 4 to 5 agencies across the street, offers a discount. Activities from the catalogue in the lobby may also be discounted. There isn't laundry on site, but the nearest laundry is a couple of minutes' walk away, across from the big supermarket.

The staff are so nice, especially Ana, Gorge, Vlagelis and Jani ❤️ The rooms are very clean, and we had everything we needed at the hotel.
