Evdokia Beach Resort

We were a family group of six, and the villa was spacious enough to host 6+2 people. It matched the pictures, was clean, and exceeded our expectations. George (host) had stocked it with everything we needed for the first few days, including water, coffee, pasta, bread, 3 bottles of wine, ice cream, olives and more. The shop is directly across the main street, too. The garden felt secure and gave the kids room to play on their own. Sand and sea toys were provided, so they had nonstop fun. The villa is a 1 min walk from a quiet beach with good restaurants, and the bus ride to the center of Heraklion takes 15 min. We didn’t get splendid weather, but part of the terraces stayed sheltered from wind and rain. Two of the four bedrooms face the main street, so they’re noisy with the windows open, though both have AC. The other two look toward the sea and are very tranquil, also with AC. All the rooms have good double beds, and the master bedroom has a second double bed where our daughter slept. The bathrooms and the kitchen and living room are big, beautiful and clean. Internet and digital TV were provided, with enough speed and quality to watch movies in 4K. We were there for just 1 week with my parents, my wife, our 2 kids and me. We’ll certainly come back with our kids and family, or friends, in a few years.
