Sofia Areopoli

Aeropoli captured my heart. The apartment was elegant, cozy, and amazing, and we were charmed by the hospitality. I highly recommend it.

We slept really well, thanks to the comfortable bed, and the room was neat and very nice. The area is quiet and has fewer tourists than other parts of Greece, which makes it wonderful for anyone who loves nature and a calm atmosphere. I’d definitely recommend this place for a relaxing holiday.

Our second-floor room was inexpensive and basic, but clean, with a comfortable double bed, a balcony, and simple cooking facilities. You’re right in the heart of Areopolis, with cafes, bars, and restaurants close by, though nothing is very far away there. The steps up to the rooms are steep, so it isn’t suitable for disabled access. The owner has other nearby properties that are more suitable.

The owner was lovely, welcomed us with a smile, and gave us ideas for things to do nearby. The room was well equipped and right in the center, close to the main pedestrian street and restaurants. One issue was the window, which didn’t shut tightly. Street noise came in at night, and strong winds in the morning happened to push it open and make it rattle. There’s a meat restaurant right next to the room called Time Out, with excellent gyros and skewers. Wander through the amazing streets, every corner is a perfect photo. At the end of the street, visit an authentic old bakery, you won’t regret it.
