Hamam Suites

The place is right in the middle of the old town, so it was easy to get around. It's a cute little spot, though smaller and more cramped than the pictures led us to expect. We had a few issues with things in our room, but room service sorted them out the next time they came. The stay was okay overall.

The location in Chania's Old City is hard to beat. The harbor, lighthouse, and lots of restaurants, coffee shops, and pubs are all within walking distance, and the Bus service and urban bus service aren't far away. The building that houses Hamam suits may once have been a private residence in the Venetian era. Demitra was a friendly, very helpful owner who always did her best to make guests happy. I did wish there had been a small closet or drawer for our clothes. If I come back to Chania, I'd stay at Hamam suits again.

We had a great room right by the historic wall. The location was fantastic.

We only stayed one night, which was a shame, because I really liked this place. It's better than the pictures, with interesting decoration and nice architecture, and the hosts were great. Check-in was easy: they sent instructions by phone for finding the key. After our very late flight, there were fresh oranges on the table, such a kind touch. The little patio was an unexpected treat. It's right in the center, within walking distance of all the sites. I highly recommend it.
