Mirabile Luxury Suites

Our apartment at Mirabile Luxury Suites was spotless, beautifully arranged, and felt like home, with a balcony where we could sit and enjoy the peaceful setting. The location was ideal, a short walk from the square, with a lovely bakery right below and a small fish shop nearby serving amazing freshly fried calamari. We appreciated the bottle of white wine waiting for us when we arrived, and the evenings in Chania were magical, with lovely walks and a wonderful atmosphere. Sophia Gypari made the whole stay feel special with her kindness, patience, and readiness to help. She shared great tips for trips and restaurants, and when we needed an extra blanket for the kids, she sorted it quickly and with a smile. Her care and attention meant a lot to us. This was the relaxed, dreamy holiday we wanted, and we're already looking forward to coming back. Sophia, thanks again for everything. We hope our paths cross again, maybe even in Koh Samui, Thailand.

The hotel is right across from the square, with lots of restaurants and food nearby, and the harbor is about a 10 minute walk away. It's noisy outside at night, though we honestly didn't hear any noise in our room. The rooms were clean and spacious, with marble in the bathroom, great shower pressure, and a TV that lets you connect to Netflix. There's also a drying stand on the balcony for beach clothes. The staff were kind and very helpful, replying to messages right away. When there was a water problem, they pushed the plumber to come fix it that night and stood up for guests, so we could shower before bed. Just be aware the building is historic, so they're not allowed to add an elevator.

The location could hardly be better, right in the middle of Chania, with shops, restaurants, bars, and the Old Harbour just steps away. Our room was a lovely surprise, far nicer in person than in the photos, and much larger than the fairly small rooms we'd had elsewhere in Europe for a similar price. It was beautifully furnished, very clean, and had a spa bath and luxury Korres amenities. The host was gracious and helpful, carried our heavy suitcases, sent restaurant and laundry recommendations, and arranged a private transfer from Chania to Heraklion. She was also fun and easy to talk with. Thank you for such an amazing stay.

We stayed four nights in the Jasper Suite at Mirabile Luxury Suites. It was bright and spacious, clean, and furnished elegantly. From there we could explore the city center on foot, and a public parking area was only a few minutes away on foot. Highly recommended. We already know where we'll stay on our next trip to Chania.
