Outside was extremely noisy throughout our stay, with traffic, sirens, people shouting and singing at night, plus shop alarms that went off three times. There were also vehicle fumes when we sat on the balcony. Bring earplugs, unless you sleep very deeply. The apartment itself was lovely, clean, well equipped, and very good. We arrived on 16th june 2025, and when we reported that the shower drain had blocked and flooded the bathroom and the toilet seat was broken, both were fixed the next morning. I struggled to sleep, but if the noise doesn't bother you, the apartment is fine.

We spent about 7 nights here and had just got back from Chania, Crete. The hotel felt like home. It's close to the old venetian harbour, with coffee shops, bars and restaurants nearby. Our room was roomy, the double bed was comfortable, and the shower was perfect and relaxing.

The staff were so kind when I locked myself out late at night. I called for help, and they came quickly without making a fuss. The room was much bigger and nicer than I expected, honestly shocking, and right in the heart of Chania, just a 2 minute walk from everything. Even family members I knew in Chania couldn't believe I found such a nice hotel in the city at that price. I highly recommend it.

We booked by phone for 12days and paid in advance, but nobody told us major roadworks were happening. There was drilling, angle grinding and dust from 7am for all 12 days. We couldn't park on the street, so we dragged our luggage through the streets in 38-40 deg heat, then hauled it up a steep staircase. The owner XARA never thought to warn us. Shocking customer service. She seemed more concerned with getting through her own day than with us, her clients, after we'd flown 15 hours for a holiday in Chania. She also disappeared on our last day. The worst accommodation experience. Would we recommend her hotel? NEVER!
