We didn’t have our own transport, but the location worked well as a base for the monastery and orphanage, the cooking experience with amazing Cretan vibes, and the donkey sanctuary. The accommodation is clean and spacious, with great facilities, including a pool. The family were very helpful. It also felt safe for a solo traveler. A perfect place to stay in rural Crete.

Friendly people, a very clean room, and a super cute property. There was a bottle of Raki and snacks waiting when we arrived, plus orange juice and water in the fridge. The price was really reasonable too. Couldn’t have asked for more!

The Dyosmos room was so lovely, warm, and clean, and it’s close to Matala. We’ll definitely be back!

We felt right at home, with comfy mattresses, a washing machine, and all the kitchen gear we needed. There’s a cafe-grill next door, plus a market-pharmacy across the street. The owner was so kind and welcoming, always ready to help. We had a wonderful stay, thank you for everything. I hope we get to visit beautiful Crete again!

The ALOE apartment was lovely, and the whole complex was clearly well cared for. The house was spotless, and the owner and his family were wonderful. I’d happily stay there again!
