Anemoessa Villa

We enjoyed every one of our 5 days here because it felt like home. The villa is immaculately kept, and the pool area is dreamy. Oía is within walking distance, and there's convenient private parking. The front desk helps with whatever you need, including beach towels and an umbrella, plus towels for the pool and more. Excellent in every way.

The peaceful atmosphere exceeded all my expectations. With the no-kids-under-16 policy, it was incredibly quiet and relaxing, and the pool offered a breathtaking panorama of the sea and Ios. The staff went above and beyond, helping us with car rentals, restaurant suggestions, and island tours. One of the best places I've ever stayed.

The sea view was lovely, and on a clear day you can see Ios. The accommodation is a 15-minute walk from Oia's iconic center, though it isn't in Oia and doesn't face the volcano. Our hostesses were very friendly and helpful, and service was excellent. Breakfast was good, with freshly made pastries and cookies that changed daily. There was free private parking. We didn't hear loud noises, though our room wasn't facing the street leading to Oia. The one letdown was the very limited TV service, with no smart TV options. We'd happily book here again.

Penny and the team made our trip with their exceptional service. They were friendly and ready to help with anything, from booking boat tours and other activities to restaurant reservations and poolside drinks or snacks. The property was lovely, with spacious, spotless rooms and a pristine pool area. We could walk to Oia in around 15 minutes, then come back to a place away from the crowds. Finnikia also had delightful restaurants just a couple of minutes away on foot. It was sad to say goodbye to the wonderful staff and beautiful hotel. I'd recommend it to anyone.
