Noelia Suites

We were glad we chose this magical little cave house in Oia instead of staying in Fira’s main town. Our room was comfortable and spacious, and opening the doors in the morning revealed the loveliest view. Elena speaks perfect English and helped arrange our airport ride, plus gave advice about excursions and fair prices. We could walk to Lefke's, the best restaurant we ate at during our 10 days in the islands. In the evenings, we watched the sunset light up the cruise ships as they slipped by, while relaxing in the jacuzzi on the front patio. We recommend it for a cave-house stay.

We loved the rooftop hot tub in our room at Noelia Suites. It was such a cool feature and a private place to watch the sunset. The room was clean and well equipped, with an amazing rain shower, a comfy bed, and AC that kept us from feeling sticky in the nice weather. Elene made sure we had what we needed, including coffee, tea, sugar, bottled water, and even wine. The location was another big plus. You’re just outside Oia, about a 10-minute walk to town and under five minutes from the bus stop, but far enough away to feel private and escape the cruise ship crowds. Finikia has amazing restaurants only a two-minute walk downhill, so we usually ate lunch and dinner there rather than dealing with Oia’s crowds. Elene was awesome and helped organize a taxi from the airport even though our flight arrived really late. She also helped us book breakfast for the next day and gave us the best restaurant recommendations, especially for Finikia. I can’t recommend Noelia Suites enough.

The cave felt quiet and very private in its cozy, convenient spot in Finikia. The village has its own restaurants and convenience shops with beautiful views, and Oia is an easy 15-minute walk uphill. We also loved the vineyard view from the rooftop jacuzzi, which felt much more secluded than the busier options in Oia. We always found nearby parking, though we were there slightly off-season. Host Helen made our stay even better by arranging early check-in, a catamaran cruise, and dinner in Oia. She communicated wonderfully and was very patient with us. The listing looked as beautiful in person as it did in the photos, and we had a perfect, relaxing time in Santorini.

We stayed for five nights in August 2022 and couldn’t fault the accommodation. The decor was beautiful and tastefully put together, and the place was spotless. The outside area was cleaned daily, with a fantastic view of the Oia sunset. Inside, the bedroom was cozy, the bed comfortable, and there was a lovely light feature looking up through the old cave to ground level. The shower was lovely and spotless too. Elena was a wonderful, attentive host and a lovely person to talk to about the real Santorini. She arranged our airport transfer, suggested activities, and helped with restaurant bookings and car hire. The cave is in a great spot away from Oia’s sometimes busy center, about a 10-minute walk away. There’s a nearby food shop, and some great restaurants in the other direction. Oia fills up at dusk when everyone heads there for the sunset, but we could watch it beautifully from the hot tub with a glass of wine. A real bonus. A super stay, highly recommended.
