White Cave Villas

The private pool and remarkable sunset view were the highlights of our Honeymoon Suite. It’s not quite the same as being on Oia’s west side, but it was much quieter and more private, away from the tourists. The room and service were lovely, and everyone was kind. The walk and stairs to reach the suite were a small setback, though absolutely worth it. Nearby restaurants had great food and service. Breakfast cost €15, came in a large portion, and changed each day.

We really enjoyed our three-day stay. We hadn’t booked a room with a jacuzzi, so getting one for free was a lovely surprise. The surroundings were beautiful, the service was excellent, and the help getting to the property was much appreciated. I’d definitely recommend it to a friend! 😁

Breakfast was spot on, and over our three nights it was different each day. Service was very good and the rooms were fine, but getting around was difficult: it took about 15-20 minutes to reach the bus station and 30 minutes to Oia. Our cave-like room was quite humid and smelled a little musty. There was no door or curtain around the toilet and shower, so whoever was in the room had to move toward the far end while someone used them.

Our little balcony had an amazing view and sunset, and the villas in Foinikia were far enough from the crowds while still close to what we needed. Oia was about a 15-20 minute walk, and public buses made it easy to get to Fira and elsewhere on the island. Vicky was a great host, Michaela was very helpful, and nothing seemed like too much trouble. Breakfast was huge and changed every day. The small lanes and up-and-down route to the villas can make access difficult, so you need to be fairly agile.
