We’d happily stay here again. The hotel sits right by the cable car and Fira’s panoramic viewpoint, tucked among the narrow streets and restaurants, with the bus station not far away. For the price, the room felt like good value. It’s a family run place, and everyone we met was warm and kind. Breakfast was generous and tasty, and we enjoyed eating on the terrace. Our simple, pretty room was cleaned daily and had a lovely balcony view, with donkeys sometimes passing below. The decor felt authentic, and the modern air conditioning was quiet.

The man who runs Asimina Hotel was especially kind and helpful. He suggested boat trips for us, and they were great and fairly priced. We also found the hotel clean and pleasant, with a nice room and a very convenient location. I had a great stay, and if I come back to Santorini, I’ll definitely choose Asimina Hotel again.

Set among the busy shops, restaurants, and passing donkeys, this is a great place to stay. It even has a little piece of cinematic history of its own!

For the price, the rooms in central thira were lovely and new, and the included breakfast was impeccable. I’d absolutely come back.

Assimina is a great budget choice in Santorini. The staff were so nice, and breakfast was really good. I accidentally left an AirPod on the bed when I checked out, and they mailed it back to me. Highly recommend!
