Flora made our honeymoon stay in 2018 feel incredibly special. She greeted us with homemade cake and orange juice, then went out of her way when she noticed my wedding dress was wet and had beach sand on a button after our wedding session. She put it on the balcony to dry, moved our beds together, and left fresh flowers and more delicious cake. I’ve never experienced hospitality like that, even at the best hotels.

The setting is a big part of what makes this place special. It’s away from Santorini’s big city feel, with Oia nearby and those famous Greek Islands views right there. There are high quality craft shops around Oia, a bit like Camel in California, and you can come across locals hanging out as you wander. Flora seems to run the place with her family, and the rates are reasonable. Ask her about the hot spots. It’s up on the mountain, so you’ll want to walk out for sunset.
