The restaurant at Porto Carra Hotel serves breakfast and lunch, and people also come by for sunset with cheese, fruit, and cocktails. They have fabulous drinks, from freshly squeezed fruit juice and homemade coffee to homemade sangria and cocktails. The rooms are simple but clean, and the sea views are breathtaking. The hotel is right in the middle of the action, within walking distance of everything. I fell in love with the location and the people who run the place!

There’s no sign saying the stairs beside the hotel are private property. Someone just appeared and told me to leave, even though they look like one of the many stairways in Fira.

The view and location rate about 3.5 for me, and I’d add another half point for the roof bar. I hope the rest gets improved!
