The room's view was breathtaking, but the stay was deeply frustrating. We arrived to no reception and no help with our bags. The first room wasn't what we'd expected, and although it had a pool, there was no water in it. When we tried to explain, the woman working there told us to go somewhere else if we wanted. We'd already paid, other places weren't fully open, and we only had two days, so spending the time searching for another hotel was not realistic. They eventually moved us to the room we'd asked for, with a hot tub, but there was no hot water and it was so dirty I wouldn't use it. There were cups and glasses, but no coffee machine or kettle, and none of the amenities mentioned in the booking description. Even a tissue box was missing. There was no hot water for showers, so be ready for cold ones. The robes and slippers were a pale yellow and didn't look clean. At breakfast, the omelette we ordered was burnt. We met another couple dealing with the same problems, and I heard another couple checked out as soon as they saw the place. For what we paid, we didn't get even 10% of the value. I understand they opened on April 1st, but we booked in January. They need to be ready whenever they open. The owner was nice, but they weren't willing to hear us out or do anything. If you book here, don't expect to know what you'll get.

We stayed three nights in late April, and the location at the top of Fira port and the Donkey stairs was excellent. The views are unbeatable, and our unit was cleaned every day. Staff were reasonably friendly. The private pool isn't very private, since there are three pools or spas, one in front of each room on each level, and from yours you can see into all three units. Getting the temperature right was tricky too, as changes took 24 hours.

The old man was very rude, and we had to manage too many stairs up and down without anyone helping us carry our luggage down. The service was poor, easily the worst hotel experience I've had. I wouldn't recommend booking here. Zero stars.

The views are scenic, but this place was worse than a cheap motel and ruined our Santorini visit. I woke each morning with fresh bites on my arms and killed at least eight bugs in the room myself. The woman at the welcome desk was nice, but we never saw her again. At the restaurant, we had to deal with a very rude older short man who seemed to dislike every customer. The included breakfast was one egg, or yogurt, or fruit. Coffee was only the garbage Nescafé. Getting bag help meant arguing with the angry old man, who then sent another older man to drag our luggage up steep, almost vertical steps, banging and damaging the suitcase at every step. The so-called private pool was filthy, full of bugs, and never cleaned. People from two other rooms walked right in front of our window wall and entrance, and sound carried between the walls. The room was gross and smelled like cigarette smoke when we switched on the AC. Toiletries had been used and were half empty. Even a cheap motel gives you full travel-size shampoo and shower gel bottles.
