MK4 Cliff Suites

Maria and her husband Panagiotis made us feel completely at home. They shared recommendations, including the black beach, and we even picked up some island history and facts from them. The donkey train also goes right past the villa, a fun extra. Huge thanks to Maria & Panagiotis, hope we meet again! Don't hesitate, just book it, you won't regret it.

Maria was so kind and useful, arranging our airport transfers and an island tour, and coming by herself to tidy up and swap the towels. The apartment is nicely decorated and can sleep up to five, with one bed in a loft and another bedroom by the bathroom. The bath is huge. There's no microwave, so we couldn't reheat restaurant leftovers. From the loft window you can see the caldera, and the shared balcony looks out over the caldera and Thirasia as well. Carrying luggage up and down the stairs on arrival and departure is hard, though that's part of staying on Fira's cliffs. I'd gladly stay here again if I return to the island.

We loved how clean and well equipped the suite was, and the WiFi was fast. The toiletries were high quality, and the robes, towels, and bed linen felt like what you'd get at a five-star hotel. There are two bedrooms, one toilet, and a wonderfully big jacuzzi. The suite sits right on the cliff, with a stunning view of the sea and nearby islands. Our three nights here were magnificent. Maria was a lovely, helpful host, and we'll choose this place again when we next visit Santorini.
